Baby-Hugs.com offers both Ground and Air services via US Poistal Service (USPS) and FedEx. Shipping costs are calculated real-time (by USPS and FedEx) based on shipping method, weight, and distance. To help our customers who buy low-weight items, we also offer Table rate (fixed rate) shipping charge. Table rates are not applicable for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO & FPO addresses and are defaulted to Air Services (USPS Priority) during Order Processing.

To see the actual shipping cost, press the "Add to Cart" button for the items you would like to order. Your total shipping cost will be calculated before you finalize your order. If you do not finalize your order, your order information is not transmitted to us. Most orders ship within two business days. Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays are processed within the next two business days. Orders do not enter 'shipped' status until the carrier has picked up the packages from our warehouse. Please check your email regularly to receive notice of any out-of-stock items that may be delayed.

Free Shipping Policies
Orders over $120 ship free via Ground within the continental United States. Orders over $120 to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO & FPO addresses incur actual shipping fees which are charged later during Order Processing. We will call you for your consent before charging.** Furniture are not eligible for Free shipping.

If you are under a time limit and eligible for free shipment, please notify us so that we may upgrade your shipping option to your choice (this might incur a small shipping charge).

If you order any item, which is marked as "Currently out of Stock" during checkout, you will be charged a shipping fee for the second shipment (that is when the Backordered Item is shipped), unless you indicate to us that you want to wait and get all items at one time.

Ground
Ground shipping is an economical option for most packages. We ship USPS or Fedex Home at your choice. We ship most items from Northern California (zip code 94539)- see the map below for estimated transit times to your location (note that Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not considered transit days).

3 Day Select
USPS Priority (FedEx Express Saver) is an economical Air service. This is a good selection if you are ordering from the East Coast, as Ground delivery can take up to 5-7 business days.

2nd Day and Next Day Air
You have the option to specify Next Day or 2nd Day shipping when you place your order. These shipping options are subject to FedEx pickup cycles and business day limitations. For example, if you place an order on Wednesday evening and specify second day shipping, it will not arrive at its destination until the following Monday. In this example, the next available FedEx departure is on Thursday evening, and the second day falls on a weekend. The following Monday is the second day in FedEx service terms.

Shipping Fees
It is important to realize that the more you buy, the lesser is the shipping cost as a percentage of the total. This is because there are many items that don't add any or add little additional charge for shipping. Many of the items are so light weight and compact that they don't incur extra freight charges and we pass on the savings to our customers. This means that a few more items added to your shopping cart should not add much more in the way of shipping fees.

Bulky Items
In some cases bulky items might incur an additional shipping charge not reflected during check out. This is because dimensional weight is not considered during real-time calculation by our shipping carriers (USPS and FedEx). In such cases we will notify you.**

APO/FPO Orders

All shipments to APO/FPO addresses are sent via U.S. Priority or First Class Mail to the Army Post Office depot. The military handles the delivery once the packages arrive at the designated AA, AE or AP address, and from that point the delivery is subject to the military delivery schedules. We estimate 5 to 7 business days for delivery once the order has been shipped; however, some destinations may take up to 21 days. For orders below $120, we automatically calculate your shipping charge which is the same as domestic U.S.A. rates. Once you have approved the total cost, including shipping charges, payment can be made. Certain oversized items cannot be shipped to these addresses.

Incorrect Shipping Address
Packages that are returned to our warehouse or shipped with an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges. Orders that are later cancelled due to an incorrect address provided by the customer are also subject to shipping charges. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the shipping.
